How we work with platforms
Relay connects to social platforms exclusively through their official APIs and approved authorization mechanisms — OAuth for Twitter/X, official app passwords for Bluesky, and platform-sanctioned access tokens for LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook.
We do not reverse-engineer private endpoints, scrape content without authorization, or use undocumented methods to access platform features. Every action Relay takes is traceable to a specific user's explicit instruction.
Users can disconnect any platform account at any time. Disconnecting immediately revokes Relay's access — we do not retain the ability to post after you unlink an account.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for complying with the Terms of Service, Community Standards, and Developer Policies of every platform you connect. This includes rules about spam, automated behavior, and acceptable content.
Relay provides tools to help you post responsibly — draft review, rate limits, and risk scoring — but these are helpers, not guarantees. You remain accountable for everything published through your account.
